Shaquille Rashaun O’Neal is one of the NBA’s best players of all-time. He has played for many NBA franchises throughout his career. Shaquille made a name for himself as one of the most dominant players to ever grace the game. In the 1992 NBA Draft, the Orlando Magic drafted O’Neal as the first overall pick. He joined the NBA after leaving the Louisiana State University. During his LSU career, O’Neal averaged 21.6 points, 1.7 assists, and 13.5 rebounds per game in 90 games played.

Shaquille has played for numerous NBA teams so far in his career. The teams he played for are, Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Boston Celtics.

The former NBA star had won 4 NBA Championships during his illustrious career. Together with many other accolades, he also formed a formidable duo and partnership with the legendary Kobe Bryant when he played for the Lakers.

Apart from being a business tycoon, Shaquille O’Neal has his own charity and foundation. It goes by the name “The Shaquille O’Neal Foundation”. One of the things that Shaq has always emphasized on is giving back to the community. And it is quite evident that he achieves this with his own charity.

“The Shaquille O’Neal Foundation creates pathways for underserved youth to help them achieve their full potential,” the foundation’s website mentions.

Apart from his own foundation, Shaq has also contributed plenty to charity individually. In the past, he has helped the victims of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. The former NBA star’s “Shaq-To-School” initiative also saw school supplies donated, which were more than $10 million.
