Aryna Sabalenka is a Belarusian tennis player with a world ranking of No. 2 in singles and a career-high of No. 1 in both singles and doubles by the WTA. She has achieved two Grand Slam doubles championships, the 2019 US Open, and the 2021 Australian Open when playing with Elise Mertens, and two Grand Slam singles titles, the 2023 and 2024 Australian Open.
Sabalenka was born in Minsk, Belarus on 5th May 1998. Her father, Sergey Sabalenka, was the one who sparked her interest in tennis. When they were driving by a court, he suggested they give it a go and she has been playing ever since.
In 2017, Aryna Sabalenka became a well-known name after leading the Belarus Fed Cup team to a runner-up finish with Aliaksandra Sasnovich, despite both having rankings outside the top 75. Subsequently, Sabalenka had several successful years on the WTA Tour, reaching four finals in 2018 and claiming eight top-ten victories.
Furthermore, she achieved three titles in China in 2019: the Wuhan Open, the WTA Elite Trophy, and the US Open doubles title. That year, Sabalenka also won the Sunshine Double with Mertens as her partner and qualified for the WTA Finals for the first time. Her career highlights have been winning back-to-back the 2023 and 2024 Australian Open.

Aryna Sabalenka has earned 11 WTA championships over her career, making her a leading figure in women’s tennis. She has even made it to the number two ranking in women’s tennis. Growing up, Aryna was raised in Minsk by her parents, Sergey and Juliya Sabalenka, along with her younger sister, Tonechka.
In 2021, Aryna Sabalenka and Konstantin Koltsov began a relationship. Koltsov is a former ice hockey player. Koltsov had an 18-year career in professional ice hockey, during which he took part in the IIHF World Championships and the Winter Olympics of 2002 and 2010, competing for Belarus.
It appears that her leisure time is frequently spent with her boyfriend Alexander Koltsov. The tennis star often posts pictures of the two of them together, be it on a trip, or during a night out.
In May 2022, Sabalenka and Koltsov went on a sightseeing tour of Rome, Italy. They shared several pictures from their journey on Instagram, featuring themselves in front of the Coliseum and Trevi Fountain, and enjoying gelato.
