Australian Open: Elena Rybakina vs Aryna Sabalenka Prediction

Both players are coming at an impressive record they’ve maintained this season at the Australian Open. Aryna Sabalenka is all set to play for her maiden Grand Slam appearance and has shown exceptional gameplay on the courts of Melbourne Park. The Belarusian, currently ranked at world No. 5, will solidify and raise her current ranking to No. 2 regardless of the outcome.

Elena Rybakina with her entry to the Australian Open final has marched into her second Grand Slam finals. In 2022, she won Wimbledon and has ousted major players this season including world No. 1 Iga Swiatek and last year’s runner-up Danielle Collins. Despite the outcome, the Kazakh will enter the world’s top ten rankings.

This will not be the first time these finalists face each other. The duo will be battling each other for the 4th time on Saturday with Sabalenka leading their head-to-head 3-0 and can therefore mark as the perfect occasion for Elena to register her first win against the Belarusian.

Both players are packed with their secret weapons, Elena with her dominating serve and Aryna resorting to an aggressive baseline game. The result can, however, turn in favor of the Kazakh as she carries the edge of having experienced Grand Slam finals pressure.

Prediction: Elena Rybakina to claim victory in three sets.
