Australian Open Final: Novak Djokovic vs Stefanos Tsitsipas Prediction

Novak Djokovic is only one win away from kissing his record 10th Australian Open title and hasn’t broken a sweat this entire season despite his hamstring injury concerns.

Currently ranked at world No. 5, Nole is without a doubt more experienced than Stefanos and will be looking at targeting the Greek’s backhand return and potentially outplaying him in cross-court rallies.

The Serb has maintained his dominant form by setting a new record of 27 straight wins at the Australian slam and if he succeeds in clinching the championship trophy, he will equal Rafael Nadal’s Grand Slam wins.

Stefanos Tsitispas is surely having the best fortnight of his career after being delighted with his first-time entry into the Australian Open final. The ‘Greek God’ reached the final of the French Open in 2021 where he was defeated by none other than Novak Djokovic himself.

Tsitsipas has lost a total of nine matches to the Serb on his run in the ATP Tour but will not let the match slip without putting up a fight. He is the last standing highest seeded player of the championship and with his height advantage in place, will be looking to cause Nole trouble by playing his signature style variation shots.

Prediction: Novak Djokovic is to claim victory in 4 sets.
