German player Alexander Zverev is one such athlete who has found an outlet in Formula 1. Zverev was last seen at the recently concluded Australian Open. The German player made it to the semifinals before Daniil Medvedev dashed his hopes. Medvedev staged a remarkable comeback, despite being two sets down, and caused a bit of a stir following his victory.
Alexander has always been open about his love for Formula 1, a passion he shares with many others on the tour. He even spoke about it in the new season of the Netflix documentary ‘Break Point.’ A short clip of Zverev introducing himself as Hamilton’s replacement has surfaced online. “I’m the reserve driver for Mercedes, and from next year on, I’ll replace Lewis Hamilton,” he says.

Alexander’s love for motorsports goes back a long way. Last year, he decided to become a co-investor in the Alpine Formula One team. Zverev joined the likes of soccer stars Juan Mata and Trent Alexander-Arnold to buy stakes in the team.
The world no. 6 has even been spotted catching the action in the principality of Monaco. He got to chat with Formula 1 icon Jackie Stewart a couple of years ago.

Is Lewis Hamilton moving to Ferrari from Mercedes?
Hamilton is one of the biggest global stars at present. His name has been synonymous with Mercedes for over a decade now. However, if reports are to be believed, he might be moving to Ferrari very soon.
Lewis signed a new two-year deal with Mercedes, but he is set to leave after just one year. The rumors of Hamilton’s move to Ferrari have been around for years, but there was never any substance to them until now.
