Tiger Woods is one of the biggest sporting icons in the world. He carried the burden of golf for years before his unfortunate accident sidelined his career. Despite being a master of his craft, Woods has a lot of respect for athletes from other sports too. He is also one of the biggest fans and oldest friends of tennis legend Rafael Nadal.
Both Nadal and Tiger have grown as individuals and as players over the years. Nadal has won 22 Grand Slams and has etched his name in the annals of tennis history. Tiger has won 15 major titles and will hope for more when he makes a comeback on tour.
Woods is well familiar with injuries and about coming back stronger. During a recent interview, Woods spoke very highly of Nadal and how much he has achieved despite his issues.

Furthermore, Tiger urged fans to enjoy the sport while Nadal was still around. He added that, like all great players, Nadal’s time will also come, and he will hate to watch him retire.
Nadal has dropped hints about his imminent return to tennis in 2024. Craig Tilley, the chief of the Australian Open, announced that the Spaniard would play at the tournament. While there is still an air of uncertainty around Nadal, Tiger Woods has definite plans.
