Serena Williams who is famously dubbed the ‘King of WTA’ in her years of competing in the tennis circuit made a massive name for herself and moved past challenges coming from top professionals like a piece of cake.
Williams’ dropped her dream of chasing Margaret Court’s record of 23 Grand Slam titles when she signed off from her professional tennis career last year in September and made her final appearance playing at the US Open 2022.
Although her retirement announcement left fans and the global tennis community hoping for her possible return, itching for her spectacular on-court performance to be cherished again, the American however doesn’t side with that.

In a recent exclusive interview held by Gayle King with CBS Mornings, Serena Williams while taking a stroll with her husband Alexis Ohanian on their Florida farm opens up about the ongoing things in her life and discusses what the future possibly holds for her.
The 41-year-old during her interview was posed with the question of if there were any chances of her stepping back on the tour this season to which Serena replied by saying, “It’s hard to say. I would say no. For now, no. I’ve literally given my whole life to tennis, and it’s time for me to give my life to something else,” hinting at the possibility of her becoming a mother again.
This speculation arises from the obvious fact that Serena ‘evolved away’ from tennis to be a better mom to her daughter Olympia Ohanian. She also stated her daughter’s wish of having a little sister quoting “Now, she prays for a sibling. I’m working on it.”
“I’ve literally given my whole life to tennis and it’s time for me to give my life to something else”: @serenawilliams is moving away from the tennis court — for now, at least.

Serena Williams shuts the door on her possible return to tennis in a convo with her father Richard Williams
Like every fan’s dream and hope of watching Serena Williams return to the WTA Tour and extend her dominant run once again, her father Richard Williams isn’t one to take a step back from it either.
The American superstar while discussing her conversations with her father Richard, talks about how he wants her to play in at least two more Grand Slam championships saying “He’s like, ‘Serena you should play two more Grand Slams.’ I’m like, ‘Dad, stop.”

It is revealed that Richard Williams wants his daughter Serena to compete again and has been convincing the 41-year-old repeatedly to make her move by stepping into the WTA tour but the legend seemingly has other plans, hopefully with another baby along, her comeback to tennis might never see the light of the day.
