Jannik Sinner has a chance to win multiple awards thanks to his performance this year.
Sinner has been the heart and flesh of Italy this season. The fans of the young player will hope for him to win awards this season. The audience can start voting for their favorite players on December 1st. The winners of each category will be announced on December 11th.
Comeback player of the year
The Comeback Player of the Year award will be given to players who have fought through a severe injury and came up on the tour. The nominees for this category are Dominik Koepfer, Gael Monfils, Jan-Lennard Struff, and Alexander Zverev. This time, Monfils and Zverev will be the favorites to win the award, as both players have performed well this year despite injuries.

Zverev suffered an ankle injury during the French Open last year and used a wheelchair to exit the court. He won 55 matches and two titles this year. Monfils suffered a wrist injury in May, dropping to No. 394 in the rankings. He reclaimed his form, won a title upon his comeback, and is now No. 74. The 37-year-old is the oldest player among all the categories this season.
Most improved player of the year
The most improved players of the year will be those who have climbed up the rankings throughout the season. The nominated players are Matteo Arnaldi, Christopher Eubanks, Ben Shelton, and Jannik Sinner. The favorites to win these awards are Sinner and Shelton. Sinner is currently ranked at No. 4 and has won four titles this season.

The Italian led his team to victory at the Davis Cup. Alongside him will be Shelton, who stole the show at the US Open with his celebrations. Starting the season at No. 96, the Americans ended it at No. 15. Shelton’s remarkable ascent on tour proves his phenomenal performance, with the results of the past 11 months justifying his nomination.
Newcomer of the year
The newcomer of the year will focus on players who entered the top 100 of the rankings for the first time on tour. The nominees are Flavio Cobolli, Arthur Fils, Alex Michelsen, Dominic Stricker, and Luca Van Assche. Stricker and Fils are the favorites to take the award. Stricker reached the fourth round of his US Open debut and beat Stefanos Tsitsipas.

The Swiss player went on to reach the quarterfinals at Basel. Conversely, Fils started his season ranked No. 252; however, he has now climbed to No. 36. The teenager took his first career title at Lyon and reached the finals at Antwerp. Fils bageled Casper Ruud in Hamburg and defeated Tsitsipas in Antwerp. At 19 years and three months, Michelsen is the youngest nominee this season.
Stefan Edberg sportsmanship award
The Stefan Edberg sportsmanship will be for players who have kept the spirit of the game on and off the court. The nominated players are Grigor Dimitrov, Hubert Hurkacz, Jannik Sinner, and Carlos Alcaraz. Dimitrov is the oldest player among the other three nominees. Meanwhile, Sinner is the only player to be nominated in two categories this season.
