The past week has been a roller coaster ride for Britain’s Andy Murray. After a loss in form due to multiple injuries, he entered the finals of a major ATP tournament after a long time. However, he suffered from another injury in the final and lost the tournament to Italian Matteo Berrettini.
He even pulled out of the ATP event at Queen’s Club due to an abdominal injury. With just a few weeks left for Wimbledon, fans started to wonder if Murray would make it to the grand slam in England.
After doing some scans, Murray has updated his fans on his injury. The three-time grand slam winner revealed that he was simply suffering from a muscle strain.
Murray also indicated that he might get back on the court to play an exhibition match at Hurlingham next week. As of now, he is still on course to participate in Wimbledon. The exhibition match at Hurlingham will be like a warm-up match for him. While Murray is not the favorite to win the tournament, he has been playing some great tennis recently.

Andy Murray feeling confident about his game after the Stuttgart Open final
Andy Murray shocked everyone when he reached the finals of the Stuttgart Open. On his way to the final, he beat big names like Stefanos Tsitsipas and Nick Kyrgios. Even after suffering from injury and calling the physio multiple times during the final, Murray put up a fighting performance against Berrettini. It has been a long time since Murray won a major tournament. Successive injuries have brought down his performance but he has always tried to shake them off and move on.
Even the British tennis star suggested that he was feeling better about his game. After the final, he said, “I’m looking forward to what the future has to hold and feeling a lot better about my game. My body can hold up a little while longer so I can keep playing matches like this.” With Wimbledon being played on his home turf, Murray will enjoy the support of the crowd. Interestingly, he is a two-time Wimbledon champion.
