Daniil Medvedev has been one of the most prolific hardcourt players in recent times. He has been showing his consistency by cementing his place in the top rankings. What’s more, Medvedev has won 59 matches this season and has only lost 12 matches so far. The Russian has reached the finals at the China Open and has always received support from his better half, Daria Medvedeva. She was last seen at the US Open final.
Medvedeva has often been seen in her husband’s matches. During the US Open final, Novak Djokovic congratulated the couple on their anniversary as Medvedeva was seen smiling during the ceremony. Like Medvedev, she too used to play tennis in her junior days.
Meeting Medvedev in Moscow
Medvedeva first met the world no.3 when they were studying at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. She played tennis at that time. They started talking regularly after meeting at a party, the couple also spent time on the courts. The couple dated for four years before marrying in 2018.

While Medvedev is busy in his professional career, Medvedeva co-founded the RawQ Foods company with her friend Arina Kuzmina, who is a certified health and nutrition coach. The company produces healthy energy bars. Their energy bars have 65 percent less sugar than their competitors in the market.
Birth of Alisa and becoming parents in 2022
After getting married in 2018, the couple entered the parenthood phase in 2022. Medvedev and Medvedeva welcomed their baby girl, Alisa. She was born on 14th October and was baptized in the presence of their godfather, Andrey Rublev. The new parents have posted a couple of pictures of the baby on social media.

Medvedeva manages to balance her business career with motherhood. She finds time in between to cheer for her husband in some matches.
Daria Medvedeva remains her husband’s full-time supporter
Medvedev has always said that his wife’s presence has helped him on and off the court. The 27-year-old said, “I always say that it’s the moment I made the proposal to her that’s when I started to go up.” Medvedev entered the top ten of the rankings a year after his marriage. The Russian mentioned that he is lucky as his wife played the game for 12 years and knows it inside out.
“The only thing I thought, ‘If I lose, I have no time to find a present.’ So I have to win this match.”

Medvedeva does not get to spend much time with her husband due to the tour. But she makes sure to support her husband during his bad times. At the 2021 US Open, Medvedev thanked his wife for the support and dedicated the title to her. He will be needing more energy bars and support from Medvedeva when he plays the final at the China Open.
