Since then, she has been in the limelight as the upcoming sensation in tennis. Though she did not have the best of matches in the upcoming tournaments and Grand Slams. However, she is the player to watch out for in the Wimbledon Open 2022.
Britain’s own, Raducanu has professed her admiration for Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic several times in her career. After her win against Alison Van Uytvanck in the first round of Wimbledon Open, Emma revealed something very interesting. She said that she is watching the practice matches of Rafa and Nole to gain knowledge.
She said, “I love to watch tennis, I love to watch all the matches, I love watching people practising. I was watching Novak warm up and it’s actually quite fascinating to see the differences between him and Rafa. With Rafa you can feel his presence but Novak is extremely easy and fluid and the way he gets his power is very different.”
Emma looked perfectly fit while playing in the first round in Wimbledon. The signs of discomfort which had occurred in Nottingham while she held her side in the opening game of the match seems to have completely healed.
