Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios has never shied away from expressing his thoughts. It is this trait that made him the perfect candidate to appear in Mike Tyson’s podcast. He spoke on a variety of topics and made some very interesting revelations about his career. Kyrgios also named the player who always troubled him during their matches- it was none other than Roger Federer.
The Australian appeared on the latest episode of “Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson”. Kyrgios was very candid throughout the interview. When Tyson prompted him to name the best player and the player who troubled him, Kyrgios named Novak Djokovic and Federer, respectively.
Nick elaborated that Djokovic is the GOAT, even if he is not appreciated as much as the others. He added that the Serb’s sheer number of titles and longevity speak for themselves.
Nick Kyrgios says Novak Djokovic is the greatest of all time, but Roger Federer was the hardest for him to play:
“I matched up really well against Nadal. I had the most success against him, but he’s still beaten me a lot of times. Federer could make you feel really sh*t. No… pic.twitter.com/nXlMrufyvs

Kyrgios also spoke of how Federer troubled him the most. He stated that no matter which part of the world he played against Roger, the crowd always rooted for the Swiss. “Federer could make you feel really sh*t,” said Kyrgios (via Tennis365).
The Australian star has been on the sidelines this year due to injuries. He missed all the major Grand Slams and tours but is hoping to return next year. Nick played just one match this year, where Wu Yibing defeated him in straight sets at the Stuttgart Open.
As a player, Nick Kyrgios is as temperamental as they come. However, he wears his heart on his sleeve, be it on the tennis court, or on social media. It is one of the reasons why fans find him more relatable than the Big 3.
