French cognac brand, Remy Martin, has enlisted Serena Williams for their 60-second advertisement during the Super Bowl. The preview of the commercial, titled “Inch by Inch,” was released on February 3rd, and the full advertisement will be revealed on February 12th during the first quarter of the Super Bowl game.
In one teaser, Serena is seen wearing a golden varsity jacket as she walks through a tunnel and then emerges into the light. Another shows her being served a drink at a bar. The 41-year-old American expressed her excitement about being a part of the project in a conversation with PEOPLE and praised the French company.
“Together, we’re incredibly excited to inspire others with ‘Inch by Inch’ and team up in pursuit of excellence, which is a message that has always resonated with me and I’m sure will resonate with viewers nationwide,” Serena Williams said.
According to a press release, the CEO of House of Rémy Martin, Jean-Philippe Hecquet, also praised Serena Williams. He said that having such an iconic figure as Williams, especially in their first Super Bowl commercial, will be of great benefit to them.

She shared with “The Hollywood Reporter” that her association with Rémy Martin is not just for endorsement purposes but also because she truly enjoys the product.
“I’m a big hostess and planner in my family, we love to spend time together, and this cognac has been a part of many family game nights and celebrations, I also love that the brand is founded on family, relationships, and teamwork because those are also pillars I value in my life,” Williams says.
Williams explains that she has a fondness for the Super Bowl, which is a cultural highlight in the United States, not just for the actual game, but also for the advertisements that are shown during it.
