The 29-year-old felt that age also plays an important role in trying to be a mother. Jabeur had earlier confessed about the 2023 Wimbledon final loss being the most painful match of her career. Ons Jabeur suffers shocking exit at Indian Wells
The 2024 Indian Wells has so far seen five seeded players from the top ten exit the event. Jabeur was the first player from the top ten to exit the event this year. She was playing at Indian Wells for the sixth time. Jabeur had made her debut at the event in 2018 and had reached the second round as a qualifier. She has been handed out early defeats since 2022 at Indian Wells.
The world No.6 lost in the second round 6-4, 6-4 to Katie Volynets. Jabeur had taken an early lead in the opening set as the score was 4-2.
