Nick Kyrgios and Novak Djokovic have come a long way in their rivalry and relationship in 2022. The two are now good friends after sharing a bitter relationship for the longest time. Their camaraderie was seen by everyone when the two met in the finals of Wimbledon this year.
The Australian tennis star reached his maiden grand slam final only to lose to Djokovic in four sets. Ever since then, the two are constantly seen engaging in funny social media conversations. However, it looks like Kyrgios is ready for another bout with Djokovic.
As per Sportskeeda, Kyrgios recently engaged in a Q&A session with his fans on Instagram. One of the fans asked Kyrgios whether the two would play in one team in a doubles match. Instead of doubles, Kyrgios said he was more interested in fighting it out against the Serbian in a singles match.
Furthermore, he said, “Novak & I are gonna have a rematch next year in his home town, no one is ready for this.” Kyrgios was referring to playing in ATP 250 in Belgrade later in 2023 for the Serbia Open.

As far as the next season is concerned, Kyrgios will be eager to make a strong start in Melbourne. He will enjoy the support of Australians and will try to bank on it to win his maiden grand slam.
