Djokovic will face South Korean player Kwon Soon-woo in the first round while Swiatek will play Croatian player Jana Fett. Both will have to be on top of their game to actually make it to the final. Moreover, many other players look in good form with Wimbledon only a few days away.
If everything happens as per the list released by Wimbledon, people are up for the dream finals. Djokovic will face second-seeded Rafael Nadal only in the final, provided both the players win their respective matches. Swiatek will also face second-seeded Anett Kontaveit only in the final and not before that.
However, there are some other names who are not seeded high but can cause the biggest upsets in Wimbledon. The most prominent name is Matteo Berrettini who is coming back from an injury but is in the form of his life. In the women’s section, Serena Williams as well as Simona Halep have the potential to disrupt the odds.
Road to the finals look tough for Iga Swiatek and Novak Djokovic
The matches before the final don’t look easy for Swiatek and Djokovic. Djokovic might face the biggest hurdle in the quarterfinal as he may face fifth-seeded Carlos Alcaraz. The teenager has been touted as the next big thin in tennis and he may end up ruining Djokovic’s campaign.

On the other hand, Swiatek may face fourth-seeded Paula Badosa in the semifinal and the Spaniard is currently in good touch. While there are other potential hurdles like Yulia Putintseva and Barbora Krejčíková but Swiatek is still the favorite to win the tournament.
Wimbledon will start on the 27th of June and both Djokovic and Swiatek have a match scheduled for that day. Their first-round matches should be an easy win considering the players they face are unseeded.
