Jeremy Renner, who is perhaps best known for his role as “Hawkeye” in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, was recently involved in a near-death accident on new year’s day.
One of the most celebrated actors in Hollywood, Jeremy, was involved in a snow plow accident that took place on January 1, 2023. The accident took a sizeable toll on his health and reportedly broke over 30 bones in his body according to the actor.
The star gained global notoriety for his role in one of the most popular comic book movies of all time, “The Avengers.” Despite his onscreen superhero persona, Jeremy is a human being and the accident left him in a bad shape. For days he was enlisted as critical and was even marked under the assumption of considering the possibility of getting his leg amputated following the tragic accident.
Both family and fans were offering their prayers for Jeremy and surprisingly they weren’t the only ones, amongst them was the husband of iconic tennis player Serena Williams, Alexis Ohanian.
In a recent tweet posted by Alexis, he is witnessed to have felt relieved knowing Jeremy’s leg would not be amputated and quoted “keep healing and fighting.”

Jeremy Renner, according to his publicist, suffered from “blunt-chest trauma and orthopedic injuries” leaving him bedridden for two weeks in an intensive care unit of the hospital.
The tragedy on Jeremy struck on new year’s day when Jeremy was clearing snow in a driveway outside his house in Nevada when he was crushed by a snow plow.

The 911 call obtaining the events and scenario of Jeremy’s accident said he was “completely crushed by a large snowcat and was having difficulty breathing.” According to reports, the entire right side of his lungs collapsed and his upper torso was crushed in the accident.
Following the events of the tragic accident, Jeremy’s recovery process is now estimated to take several weeks of rest and physiotherapy. However, it remains to be seen if Jeremy regains the complete mobility of his legs or not. But he will always have the fans and their prayers to aid boost his morale.
