In the year 2013, Taylor Gahagen became a part of Pegula Sports and Entertainment, a prominent sports and entertainment management company owned by Jessica Pegula’s parents. He held various roles as director of corporate business development, brand strategy, and later, worked in marketing for the Pegulas’ NHL team, the Buffalo Sabres.
His journey continued to evolve as he grew professionally within the Pegula Empire and that brought him to the proximity of Jessica Pegula, who would soon become his lady love. They were first linked in 2015 when Pegula shared a photo from a costume party they attended together.
Their relationship blossomed, and their first known photo as a couple surfaced on Jessica’s Instagram in November 2015 when they dressed as Clark Kent and a vampire for a costume party. In 2018, Jessica founded Ready 24, a skincare company with Taylor’s support. As their love story unfolded, Gahagen eventually proposed to Pegula. In 2019, Jessica was spotted wearing an engagement ring while on a trip to Prague.

However, their wedding plans hit a roadblock albeit temporarily. Initially scheduled for October 2020, they decided to postpone their wedding for a year, as revealed by Pegula during a podcast in 2021. She said, “We were supposed to get married in October last year. We postponed it by a year…It’s fine, it worked out!”
Finally, in October 2021, Jessica Pegula and Taylor Gahagen got married in a ceremony at Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. It marked the culmination of Taylor Gahagen’s remarkable journey from being a business partner to Jessica Pegula’s life partner.

Following a hectic tennis schedule, Jessica Pegula and Taylor Gahagen finally had the chance to enjoy their long-awaited honeymoon in the summer of 2022, choosing Costa Rica as their destination. Jessica expressed her enthusiasm, saying, “It was amazing, it was so much fun. We want to go back so bad. It was just the best experience. The people, the food, the lifestyle was so much fun.”
Taylor Gahagen has assumed the role of vice president at Pegula’s skincare company, Ready 24, which was founded in 2018. This endeavor reflects the couple’s entrepreneurial spirit and shared commitment to building a successful business together.

Their shared love for animals has also led Jessica Pegula and Taylor Gahagen to create a charitable organization known as ‘A Lending Paw.’ Jessica explained, “We wanted to help people afford service dogs. Not only is that about dogs helping people, but it’s also about people helping dogs because we only work with rescues. It goes both ways.”
