The 19-year-old has been one of the top rising stars, consistent with her performance. She received support from Victoria Azarenka, who shared it on X. Jessica Pegula too, joined the club in appreciating her doubles partner’s recent success.
The pair had a good time at the Canadian Open as doubles partners. Fans were too happy as they joined to celebrate her success. Gauff became the first teenage champion on the WTA tour to take the title at Cincinnati.

The two French Open finalists spent eight and half hours to take the title and only dropped a set in the whole week. Her most brutal match was against Iga Swiatek, as she had lost to the Polish player seven times in a row.
But with superior court coverage and heavy groundstrokes, the young American prevailed to make history. Gauff has been inspired by the Williams sisters and had spoken about it after the semifinal victory.

The world No.6 revealed that she had been watching Serena Williams and Venus Williams play since childhood. Gauff said that the sisters have always been her idol. She had been thinking about them when struggling against Swiatek in the semifinals. Gauff has played against Venus twice; the young player won on both occasions.
At Cincinnati, Gauff said, “My greatest inspirations are definitely the Williams sisters. They’re the reasons why I started playing tennis. And honestly, that fight, watching them fight day in and day out, even Venus starting down 5-1 in the earlier rounds and coming back, just their fight. I mean, who they are on and off the court.” The five-time tour title winner talked about how she has tried to model her game watching them.
Gauff had already won two titles this season, and with a win at Cincinnati, she now has five singles titles in her career. Gauff also climbed to ranking No. 6; she needs to jump two more places for her best ranking, which she achieved last year. She has proved her fortitude and will now aim for victory at the grand slams.
