After playing last at the Stuttgart Open in April, Emma Raducanu has undergone a string of surgeries. She had operations on her ankle and both of her wrists, which forced her to miss major tournaments. Wimbledon and the French Open were the main names, among many others. While she recently made a return to the practice courts, she will not be playing at the US Open this year.
While Raducanu is gradually recovering, she makes sure to keep her fans updated with everything she does. The British recently uploaded a video on Instagram. She is showing off her piano skills in the video while wearing a t-shirt with Rafael Nadal’s signature logo.

The 20-year-old also shared a funny blooper video showing her piano lesson getting humorously interrupted, which made her start laughing. This has not been the first time Raducanu has been spotted wearing a Nadal merchandise. She had previously worn apparel with the iconic Raging Bull logo during the Wimbledon Championships last year.
She was asked about her choice of clothing. And the young Brit remarked how inspiring it felt to wear something symbolizing resilience and hard work. She revealed she was wearing the t-shirt to channel Rafa’s fighting spirit when she was going through a difficult time in her career.
Her Chinese grandmother does not let Emma Raducanu play the piano at night
Raducanu recently attended a practice session in China as she got ready to make her comeback. She is currently staying at her ancestral house in China with her grandmother. Raducanu makes sure to find out different things to keep her company while she is not playing in any tournaments. Her current hobby is playing the piano.
As she was playing the piano, Raducanu’s grandma gave her a polite reprimand for playing the piano until late at night. Her grandmother expressed her concerns for their neighbors, who might get upset and disturbed by the loud noise at night.

As the entire conversation was taped, Emma was caught in the act and just chuckled as she stopped playing the instrument. She continues to stay at her ancestral home and has been constantly practicing for her return to tennis. Later this year, she is scheduled to participate in an exhibition match in Cotai, Macau.
Although the Brit has fallen out of the top 200 female players at the moment, Emma is making sure to do everything to return to her glory. As she is devoting time not only to improving her physical health, as seen by her most recent gym sessions but also her mental and emotional health.
