Former tennis star Serena Williams has had her hands full since the birth of her second child. However, she does make time for herself when she can, and she did recently when she attended her good friend Snoop Dogg’s live show on a cruise in Miami.
Williams has always been a music aficionado and was spotted at Enrique’s concert last month. This time, though, she had a good time at Snoop Dogg’s show. The former world number one shared snippets of her night out as she grooved along to the rapper’s popular hits.
Snoop Dogg went all out as he sang ‘Upside Ya Head’. The rapper had released the song as a single from his 1996 album, The Doggfather. Williams recorded the crowd going crazy as the rapper performed other hits such as ‘Beautiful’ and ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’.
Williams welcomed Adira River Ohanian, her second daughter, in August of this year. Her life has undergone a lot of changes since her retirement, but she wanted to expand her family and did just that with her husband, Alexis Ohanian.
Serena Williams has juggled motherhood and her other responsibilities very well. She has been making a lot of appearances of late. As she was wont to do as a player, Serena created history when she became the first athlete to win the CFDA Award.
Serena and Snoop Dogg go a long way back. The 23-time Grand Slam champion has a lot of friends in the industry, and the rapper is one of them. They are very supportive of each other as well, which is a testament to their bond.
Snoop Dogg has always been very supportive of Serena Williams
Serena is one of the greatest tennis players of all time; her 23 Grand Slam titles prove it without a doubt. She and her older sister, Venus Williams, owe much of their success to their father, Richard Williams. So great is Richard’s legacy that the biopic of his life made Snoop Dogg cry.
King Richard depicted the lives of Richard and his daughters. It was a poignant film that saw Will Smith win an Oscar for playing the protagonist. The film left a lasting impression on many, including Snoop Dogg.

The rapper was also very happy for Serena when she decided to get married to Alexis Ohanian. “I am happy for you, man. I am glad that she found somebody that can appreciate her. When you are so far up in the game, something you tend not be appreciated for what you do off the court,” he told Alexis about Williams.
Serena Williams is one of the legends of the sport and deserves the love and admiration showered on her. She is still very influential, and her impact goes well beyond the boundaries of the tennis court.
