Nick Kyrgios is one of the most influential players of this generation and has to himself a skillset like no other professional has ever possessed in the tennis circuit.
Having been through various controversies during his career, Kyrgios is regarded as the king of trick shots and is well-known for his on-court tantrums and short temperament.
The Aussie star who was recently featured in Netflix’s latest tennis documentary ‘Break Point‘ made yet another appearance on a podcast where he discussed the most anticipated questions about his history and approach towards professional tennis.
Nick recently made face at the ‘IMPAULSIVE’ podcast, a show hosted by American personality and wrestler Logan Paul, and chews over several topics, ranging from ousting Spaniard tennis player Rafael Nadal in Wimbledon and his on-court meltdown moment with notable Hollywood superstar Ben Stiller.
One of the topics of the conversation included whether the tennis world hates the presence of Nick Kyrgios in it and the Aussie bluntly started the chat by saying “I would say I’m probably the most unprofessional tennis player.” He then went on to add “but (tennis) is all I’ve known since I was seven years old, my parents were the big reasons why I played tennis.”
“I went through a phase where I hated it and then I just realized how many people look up to me and being who I was important. I think a lot of people want to see me do well and I think last year was awesome making it into the Wimbledon finally,” added Kyrgios as to what drove him to continue competing and pushing himself in the ATP Tour.
Ranked in the top 20, the Australian ‘Bad Boy of Tennis’ also highlighted that despite being amongst the highest charts of the ATP, plays 1/12th of the tennis than anyone and hasn’t had a coach for six years now.

Australian controversial tennis star Nick Kyrgios has had his fair share of rage moments with professionals in the ATP circuit but shares a special rivalry with one of the sport’s ‘The Big Three’ of the generation, Rafael Nadal.
The 27-year-old’s conflict with the former world No. 1 Rafa goes beyond the parameter of fixation with the duo being witnessed not meeting eye to eye in several matches and confrontations and remains to stay par from establishing a healthy relationship.
