Andy Murray is one of the greatest tennis players in history. He captured the hearts of millions as he became the first British man to win the Wimbledon singles title in 77 years in 2013. Since then, his success has continued to mount, and he has gone on to win two Olympic gold medals. He also held the world’s number-one spot back in 2016.
More than just a successful athlete, Andy Murray is a devoted family man. His wife of seven years, Kim Sears, is an accomplished artist and former fashion model. The couple has been together since their first meeting at the 2005 US Open.
Kim’s father Nigel Sears, who at the time was the head of the Women’s Tennis Association, introduced the pair to each. The couple revealed their relationship to the public when Murray kissed Kim after winning his first tournament in 2006.
Kim Sears is an artist, social media influencer, and former professional tennis player. Under her academic achievements, Kim earned herself an A-grade in music, arts, and drama during her period of study at Sussex University.
Kim is an incredibly supportive and loving wife to 3-time Grand Slam champion Murray. She has been a great source of strength for Andy throughout his career and has traveled the world in support of her husband while he competed in the biggest Grand Slams and continues to be one of his closest confidants.
