After the antics of Dillon Brooks on Donovan Mitchell, the Cleveland Cavaliers star has some words for the NBA. The Cleveland Cavaliers hosted the Memphis Grizzlies for a game of basketball. Little did the audience know that they were in for a brawl. This altercation eventually ended up with both players involved in an immediate ejection from the game.
Despite the ejection, the Cavs were able to win the game. Thanks to the performance from Darius Garland, who in the absence of Mitchell led the team with a 32-point performance. Ja Morant and Desmond Bane were the best players for the Grizzlies. However, the pair couldn’t do more against the Cavs.

Mitchell is crucial for the Cavs’ success this season, and the guard knows it. The incident occurred in the 3rd quarter when Brooks drove to the rim only for Evan Mobley to come out on top. “Him and I have had our personal battles for years, quite frankly I have been busting his a** for years, playoffs, regular season… This has been brewing for years, with me, and with other guys in the league. This isn’t new, tonight was just the end of it.” Said, Mitchell. “The NBA has to do something about it, cuz like i said I’m not the only person this has happened to.” continued Mitchell in the press conference.
Mitchell ended the night with 2-11 shooting and scored 6 points before his ejection. This season the Grizzlies have hit the spotlight for talking a lot. However, they’ve now taken it to another level, with the Brooks incident. They will need to look into his behavior on the court.
