- Jackie Buntan and Anissa Meksen will headline ONE Fight Night 23.
- Three more major fights have been added to the card that will surely excite the fans.
A triplet of potential barnburners have been added to the blockbuster ONE Fight Night 23: Jackie Buntan vs. Anissa Meksen on Prime Video. The event goes down on July 5 at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, and will now feature a crucial bantamweight Muay Thai clash between #1 contender Nico Carrillo and fourth-ranked Thai star Saemapetch Fairtex.
Scotland’s Carrillo recorded his third straight knockout win in as many fights under the ONE banner when he finished Thai legend and former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nong-O Hama this past December. After the biggest win of his career, “The King of The North” put current bantamweight Muay Thai king Jonathan Haggerty on blast while talking to SCMP MMA.

“We are the only people who have ever done that to Nong-O. It’s the only fight to make – even better, he’s English and I’m Scottish,” he said. “I’m not chasing names, I’m chasing gold. I am there to be the champion and Haggerty’s the one with the gold.”
But Carrillo has one more hurdle to clear in the form of long-time contender Saemapetch before a dream matchup against Haggerty can materialize. “The General” is also tied up for now with a blockbuster clash against ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 at ONE 168: Denver on September 6.
Two more big time fights to feature at ONE Fight Night 23
The ONE Fight Night 23 card is taking shape, with two more fights announced in addition to Nico Carrillo vs. Saemapetch Fairtex. Former ONE Lightweight MMA World Champion Ok Rae Yoon takes on promotional newcomer Alibeg Rasulov in a bid to continue his winning ways.
Ok was last in action defeating America’s Lowen Tynanes by unanimous decision, successfully rebounding from his World Title loss to old foe Christian Lee. Despite being a ONE debutant, Rasulov looms as a serious challenge to Ok’s title aspirations.

The 31-year-old Turkish standout brings an unblemished 14-0 record to his promotional bow, which was amassed on the tough European circuit. Also on the bill is South Korean knockout artist Kang Ji Won, who is looking for the fifth knockout of his ONE career when he faces long-time heavyweight MMA contender Kirill Grishenko of Belarus.
