Former UFC light-heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier is seemingly unimpressed with Tony Ferguson’s recent claims. Ferguson recently took to Twitter to share a video of Cormier at the weight-ins for his UFC 210 fight in which the latter initially missed the weight by 1.2 pounds. However, ‘DC’ returned to the scales just minutes after, this time making the weight as he held on to the towel while seemingly putting less pressure on the weighing scale.
Addressing the same, Tony Ferguson suggested that one shouldn’t make weight like this. He further claimed that Daniel Cormier should have been stripped of his UFC light-heavyweight title just like Charles Olivera had his lightweight title taken away at UFC 274. ‘DC’ was quick to reply to ‘El Cucuy’ suggested the latter to stop because it is not a good look. He said:
“Tony please stop. Go and sit back for a little, tuck your head in a hole somewhere. Regroup man , recover spend some time with your family. Like just please stop! I plead with you. It is not a good look. Like you’re making me sad.”

What did Daniel Cormier do to make weight prior to UFC 210?
Daniel Cormier struggled to make weight in the lead up to his UFC 210 bout. As mentioned earlier, he missed weight by 1.2 pounds but ended up making weight just minutes after. While it raised many eyebrows at the time, there was no investigation held further.
After years of speculations surrounding the subject, Daniel Cormier has opened up on the same. ‘DC’ suggested that he tried to put as less pressure as possible on the weighing scale to ensure that he hit the mark of 205 pounds. This revelation might come as a shock to many as for years Daniel Cormier blamed the commission and also insisted that the weighing scale was faltered.
During an episode of his YouTube show The DC Check-In, Daniel Cormier talked about the same and said:
“Obviously you remember how I, made weight for the ‘Rumble’ fight? You know what I’m saying? You remember how I got it done over there? Remember I’m up there making sure I don’t put too much pressure down on it. So I don’t go down too low!”
