WWE’s sale has been one of the biggest talking points among professional wrestling fans recently. There have been several rumors regarding the potential buyers ever since Vince McMahon returned to the company. Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund was one name that was rumored to buy the promotion but the reports were immediately shut down.
According to a new report from CNBC, a deal is being finalized between WWE and Endeavour for the sale of the promotion. Endeavour, which is the parent company of the UFC, will reportedly form a new publicly traded company with the WWE. Endeavour will own 51% of the company while the shareholders will own the other 49%.
According to reports, Vince McMahon will remain as the Executive Chairman and Nick Khan will keep his post as the president of the company. Triple H’s future as of now is unclear. The WWE legend is currently handling creative duties for the promotion.
