The heavyweight division in boxing currently has two dominant champions, Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. Though Joshua might look like the more accomplished champion Fury’s win over Deontay Wilder has made him the people’s champion.

It’s not just his dominant win over Wilder but his return story that captivates the fans and forces them to cheer for The Gypsy King. Well, luckily the fans won’t have to wait for long as there would be a title unification bout between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua next.

Though the date of this heavyweight showdown has not been finalized yet the fans can expect this fight to happen by the end of 2021. And The Gypsy King can not wait to get his hands on his countryman Anthony Joshua.

In the recent BBC No Passion No point podcast, Tyson Fury discussed why Anthony Joshua has no chance of beating The Gypsy King. Tyson Fury explained:

“I can not be beaten by a fighter. A normal fighting man can not beat the Gypsy King. The only person that can ever beat the Gypsy King is me, Tyson Fury. The Gypsy King is indestructible. Never ever had problems, never ever had mental health struggles, never had anything. Tyson Fury is a flawed character. And the only man who can beat the Gypsy King is Tyson Fury.”

Fury struggled with mental health problems after his win against Wladimir Klitschko. Fans even thought that they had seen the last of The Gypsy King. However, Fury became a source of motivation by making a successful comeback and winning the WBC heavyweight champion by beating the most dominant fighter back then, Deontay Wilder.

Tyson Fury aims to retire with an unbeaten record

After 30 pro fights, Tyson Fury is still unbeaten and he does not believe that any fighter is going to Fury even claimed that he would retire with an unbeaten record and the heavyweight title on his shoulder. Fury stated:

“I can’t wait to get the big dosser in the ring and prove to the world what a fake he is. And there is only one dominant heavyweight world champion and his name is Gypsy King. Undefeated, Undestructible, Unbeatable. Never will lose a fight in the history of the sport ever, Will retire with a crown. I am not lucky, I am blessed.”

Though The Gypsy King is the favorite going into the fight, Anthony Joshua can not be underestimated. Joshua is certainly one of the best boxers the heavyweight division has ever seen and he has proven it time and time again. But, he will face the toughest challenge of his career when he enters the ring to take on Tyson Fury.
