This is a dangerous fight for both the fighters involved. Kamaru Usman was training for Gilbert Burns whose skillsets are nothing similar to Jorge Masvidal. And Jorge Masvidal did not even know that he will be fighting Usman this weekend up until 2 days ago.
Besides that, going up against someone as good as Kamaru Usman on short notice is a huge gamble. Usman has all the abilities to dominate Jorge Masvidal on the ground for five straight rounds with ease.
Something similar can be said for Kamaru Usman who will be taking on Jorge Masvidal on short notice. He was training for Gilbert Burns who is a completely different fighter compared to Masvidal. So this might be a huge challenge for the Nigerian Nightmare too.

Who wins a fight between Francis Ngannou vs Deontay Wilder
On the other hand, UFC heavyweight Francis Ngannou believes Kamaru Usman will get the job done at UFC 251. Ngannou claimed:
“Doesn’t matter who is the opponent, whether is one of the best welterweight of the world or the BMF Champ ????, the result is still going to be the same because the undisputed Champ, the Nigeria nightmare is going to take care of business on July 11th.”
Kamaru Usman will be going into the fight as a big favorite. Jorge Masvidal has not done really well against opponents who have similar skillsets as Kamaru Usman. However, Jorge Masvidal can not be overlooked as he has huge momentum in his favor. The big wins over Nate Diaz, Ben Askren, and Darren Till has created a whole another persona of Masvidal who is going into the fight with a different approach.
It would be intriguing to see whether Masvidal will finish Usman with his superior striking or it will be yet another dominant performance from Usman.
