Stipe Miocic defeated Daniel Cormier via unanimous decision to retain the UFC Heavyweight Championship at UFC 252. Miocic put up an incredible performance over former dual Champion Daniel Cormier to pick up the victory. In the process, Stipe Miocic has cemented his position as probably the greatest Heavyweight Champion of all time. It was a retirement fight for Daniel Cormier, who will go down with back to back losses to his name. However, Daniel Cormier put up an incredible performance against Miocic despite losing his right eye due to a severe eye poke in the third round. Daniel Cormier will go down in history as one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time.

How about Miocic vs Ngannou 2 for the last PPV of the year? @danawhite @ufc
— Francis Ngannou (@francis_ngannou) August 16, 2020
Miocic is now a two-time UFC Heavyweight Champion having defended the heavyweight hold in both title reigns. There are a lot of interesting options ahead of him. Francis Ngannou is on a four-fight win streak and is the next top contender for the UFC Heavyweight division. Dana White has also shown interest in the match-up. It will be interesting to see Stipe Miocic go head to head against Franci Ngannou once again.

Jon Jones calls out UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic
Miocic picked up an incredible unanimous decision victory over Francis Ngannou back in January of 2018. Soon after the impressive win, Francis Ngannou called out Stipe Miocic for the UFC Heavyweight Championship. Ngannou took to Twitter, and in reply to Jon Jones, expressed his interest in a potential match-up against Stipe Miocic for the UFC Heavyweight Championship.
However, it was interesting to note Jon Jones calling out the Heavyweight Champion. Soon after UFC 252 concluded, Jones shared a tweet.
Heavyweight world championships I will be seeing you real soon. Victorious

Jon Jones has earlier expressed interest in a super-fight against Francis Ngannou. While there’s a reason to believe that Francis Ngannou could be hinting at Jon Jones about fighting him at the heavyweight division. However, it’s safe to presume that Jon Jones did indeed callout Stipe Miocic for the UFC Heavyweight Championship. It’s not yet certain when Jon Jones will be making his heavyweight jump, with Dana White earlier expressing a light-heavyweight title defense before 2020. Only time will tell if we will get to see Stipe Miocic vs Jon Jones.
Avoid Stipe’s right hand, I’m too fast, I’ll be too strong when the time is right and have way too much energy. Soon and very soon I’ll be considered the baddest man on this planet
