Daniel Cormier takes on the UFC heavyweight champion, Stipe Miocic in the biggest fight of his career. While a win over Stipe Miocic in the trilogy will cement DC’s legacy as the greatest UFC heavyweight of all time a loss will ruin is final moments in MMA.

Going into the fight, Daniel Cormier has confirmed that this will be the final time he will enter the octagon. And what better way to end a glorious career than to beat the most accomplished heavyweight champion of all time, Stipe Miocic.

The stake on this fight can not be higher and this moment will never come back for DC and his teammates. Well, AKA’s own and the UFC lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov sends a heartwarming message to Daniel Cormier.

Khabib Nurmagomedov lauds Daniel Cormier

Talking about the trilogy and Cormier, the lightweight champion stated:

“This is one of the best confrontations in the history of MMA, they met 2 times and the score is 1: 1, the third fight promises to be very interesting. I really look forward to this fight and expect the victory of my Brother Daniel Cormier. The path that DC has done in Martial arts can not be described in words, you just look at the list of fighters whom he beat, look how many titles he won in different weights.”

“DC is a person who has made a big impact on my career, a true and caring friend and an exemplary family man, a devoted teammate. It is not usual to realize that this is his last fight in career. Good luck captain, you have a great opponent in from of you, the victory over will concretize your legacy in MMA” Khabib continued.

Though Daniel Cormier is positive that this will be his last fight UFC president, Dana White has surprisingly denied this claim. White believes Daniel Cormier is at the top of the sport right now and if he wins this fight then he would be there for a few more walkouts to the octagon.
