UFC 260 Prelims: William Knight vs Alonzo Menifield Stats, Prediction & Breakdown

UFC 260 will mark this month’s second PPV event for the promotion as Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou step inside the Octagon one more time for the UFC heavyweight championship. The last time around when both these fighters met inside the Octagon, Miocic triumphed over the Predator and picked up a decisive victory. However, that’s not the only fight that fight fans will be looking forward to when they tune in for UFC 260. In the preliminary card, William Knight takes on Alonzo Menifield in what promises to be an exciting match-up between two explosive strikers.

Alonzo Menifield vs William Knight will headline the preliminary card at UFC 260 on March 27 inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas. Needless to say, both the fighters will look to get their hands on the UFC bonus with a statement win to send a notice to the entire light-heavyweight division.

Menifield is an explosive striker with all his professional wins coming via way of stoppage. He started his MMA career in the heavyweight division, however, he switched to the light-heavyweight division in his second professional bout and has continued in the same weight class. A former professional American football player, Menifield will look to make huge adjustments to his game ahead of what is possibly a career-defining fight for him inside the UFC Octagon.

Knight is coming off an impressive unanimous decision win over Aleksa Camur in his UFC debut after earning the contract with a first round TKO win at against Cody Brundage at Dana White Contender Series back in September of 2020.

Knight has only only lost once in his 10 professional bouts inside the Octagon. He is an explosive striker with 8 of his 9 wins coming via way of stoppage. Needless to say, Knight will look for yet another highlight reel as he takes on an equally dangerous Alonzo Menifield in the main-event of the preliminary card at UFC 260.
