We are hours away from the much-anticipated trilogy between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier. The stakes are immensely high in this match and the build-up has been absolutely intense.
Both Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier have thrown verbal jabs at each other leading upto the fight. And the press conference for the fight was everything the fans expected.
McGregor insulted Dustin Poirier with his trash talk and Poirier, who is known as a nice guy both in and out of the octagon, did not hold back.
But things got even more tensed when Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier came face to face for the media. Though Dana White tried his best to keep the faceoff civil, McGregor threw a leg kick which accidentally landed on Dana White.
Dana White later acknowledged the body kick from Conor and made a hilarious comment.

Conor McGregor has a huge task ahead of him at UFC 264
Despite, the theatrics Conor McGregor has brought into the build-up of this fight he will have to prove himself in the octagon.
Dustin Poirier is the one who will be oozing with confidence as he knocked out Conor McGregor in the rematch at UFC 257. However, an argument can be made that McGregor had some success and with the right adjustment, he can win the fight.
But, it’s not going to be an easy task for the Notorious. Dustin Poirier has been more active in the last few years and he is a much-improved fighter now.
On the other hand, McGregor has been inactive. He has been submitted and knocked out in his last three fights. And he took a lot of damage in his last fight as well. So the odds are definitely against McGregor. However, he has made a career out of beating the odds inside the octagon.
Whether he can do it once again and continue his journey to regain his lightweight title, the fans will have to wait till UFC 264 to find out.
