Finally, Dana White was able to successfully organize the most anticipated event of UFC in 2021. Not the way fans would have loved it to end but it is what it is. Conor McGregor was injured after the first round and lost the trilogy bout to Dustin Poirier via TKO (doctor’s stoppage).
However, the Notorious wasn’t happy at all with the incident. So, he started calling out Dustin constantly from his corner after the fight was over. But, Conor didn’t stop there. He went on to cuss Jolie, Dustin’s wife. McGregor said, ” Your wife is in my DMs. Hey baby, hit me back up on chat later on. We’ll be at the after-party, the Wynn nightclub, baby. You’re looking bi**, you little h*e. F*** him”. Dana White didn’t like it and expressed his stance on this behavior.

When Dana was asked about the same, he said “ I didn’t hear it” at the post-fight press conference. A reporter then explained to him about Conor’s demeaning comments to Jolie. Dana replied “I didn’t like that. That’s not good. Leave people. Leave people’s families and wives and all that stuff out of it. The family has got nothing to do with it”.

Earlier before the fight, Conor shared a screenshot of Dustin’s wife’s message request on Twitter. To which Diamond replied, “fabricated“. Conor then shared another screen recording of the same. Conor tried every possible way to get into Dustin’s mind. But, it seems like it wasn’t McGregor’s day in the end. Even before Conor’s ankle snapped, he was constantly in a bad position against Dustin. Nonetheless, UFC CEO Dana White revealed that this is not the end. There is more of this Dustin vs Conor saga to come after Conor’s recovery.
