Frankie Edgar vs Marlon Vera prediction
Frankie Edgar is expected to get his hands raised this weekend against Marlon Vera at UFC 268. While Vera poses a great challenge for Edgar with his fierce striking, the former UFC champion’s wrestling will prove to be too much for Marlon Vera. Additionally, having seen Jose Aldo dominate Vera on the ground for the better part of three rounds when they faced each other inside the Octagon, it becomes quite predictable that Frankie Edgar would look to bring the fight to the ground to wear down his opponent.

I don’t give any chances to Frankie Edgar on the feet, but I also don’t think Marlon Vera can easily knock out Frankie Edgar in the manner Cory Sandhagen did. Vera is still young, and at just 28 years of age, he comes inside the Octagon with a lot of experience behind him. There’s no denying his abilities inside the Octagon. Edgar should watch out for the head-kick, and not let Marlon Vera pressure him. Needless to say, it is easier said than done.

Edgar could also look to exploit Marlon Vera’s cardio which came into question during his last fight against talented Davey Grant. Edgar
