UFC 273 is just mere hours away and there are some super-exciting heavyweight fights on the preliminary card of the event. One such bout on the cards is Jairzinho Rozenstruik vs Marcin Tybura.
Rozenstruik is a knockout artist who has 11 wins in his 15 fights. He also currently holds the record for the second-fastest Knockout in his division. This was when he knocked out Allen Crowder.

Marcin Tybura is a well-rounded fighter who sure has what’s needed to beat his opponent. Although he is perhaps the superior fighter, Tybura has a questionable chin which is going to be a big disadvantage ahead of a fight against such a heavy puncher.

Although Rozenstruik has 3 losses in his last 5 fights, ‘Bigi Boy’ who is currently ranked 8th in the division is too talented of a fighter to not bounce back from such a slump. All of his losses have come against elite fighters such as Curtis Blaydes, Ciryl Game, and Francis Ngannou. There is no shame in losing to the top dogs of the division. Hence, a fight against a lower-ranked (10th ranked) opposition might just be what he needs to get his career back on track.
Marcin Tybura, on the other hand, has more tools to win a fight than his opponent this Saturday. He has 6 submission victories in his career which is positive ahead of fighting a Kickboxer such as Rozenstruik.
However, he should worry about the four losses by knockout on his record. This is because he has a bad history when fighting against powerful strikers. He was knocked out by Derrick Lewis and Augusto Sakai, two fighters famous for hard-punching. Rozenstruik is known for his heavy fists too.

Both Rozenstruik and Tybura are coming off tough losses against elite competition in the Heavyweight. Hence, neither can afford another defeat in their record. While Rozenstruik will be desperate to land his trademark big shots, Tybura will try to implement his grappling to neutralize the threat of Rozenstruik’s power.
Hence, both fighters have clear paths to victory. For Jairzinho to get his hand raised, he has to knock Tybura out. As for Marcin, he has to be wary of Rozenstruik’s dynamic striking and take him down.
