Conor McGregor trolled Petr Yan in what was a brutal roast of the former bantamweight champion by referring to him as “Hasbulla” in his recent social media post. “Congrats Hasbulla on signing with the UFC,” McGregor tweeted with a photo of Petr Yan.
Fans couldn’t keep calm as they reacted hilariously to the tweet. Check out some hilarious reactions.

McGregor and Yan do not have a rivalry so to say, considering Yan’s rise came in the wake of McGregor’s decline. Moreover, both fighters compete in different weight classes, and it’s very unlikely that they will share the Octagon.
If we dive a little deeper, McGregor’s brutal troll of Petr Yan could have a lot to do with the Russian fighter’s recent comments on Sean O’Malley referring to Conor McGregor. Yan called O’Malley a “Conor wannabe.” It’s safe to say that must have not gone well with the Notorious, who decided to take a dig at the former champion.
As far as referring to him as Hasbulla, Petr Yan’s height has been a major talking point heading into UFC 280. Sean O’Malley claimed Petr Yan’s actual height is 5ft 5inch, while it’s listed as 5ft 7inch on the UFC record books. O’Malley brought up the same topic during the UFC 280 pre-fight press conference.
What is Petr Yan’s actual height?
Petr Yan is listed as 5′ 7” on UFC record books. However, Sean O’Malley claims that the former bantamweight champion is 5′ 5”.
Sean O’Malley could be absolutely wrong here, or in another scenario, even Aljamain Sterling‘s height is listed wrong. Both Yan and Sterling are 5’ 7” and the face-off photos confirm them to be of the same height. If that is to be believed, then Sean O’Malley’s claims about Yan’s height are completely baseless.
Petr Yan takes on Sean O’Malley in a bantamweight bout this weekend in Abu Dhabi at UFC 280. Dana White has already confirmed that the winner of this fight will take on the winner of Aljamain Sterling vs TJ Dillashaw, which happens to be the co-main event of UFC 280.
