Jack Della Maddalena is an exciting talent and he will be in action at UFC 284. He will face Randy Brown on the main card. The card has two title fights in the main and the co-main events. Alexander Volkanovski fights the lightweight champ Islam Makhachev in the headliner. Yair Rodriguez and Josh Emmett will also duke it out for the interim featherweight title.
Randy Brown is a veteran of the company. His first UFC fight came against Matt Dwyer in January 2016. So he has been a part of the company for over 7 years now. Although he has lost 4 fights in the promotion, Brown has wins over fighters like Mickey Gall, Bryan Barberena, and Francisco Trinaldo. At present, Brown is on a 4-fight win streak.

Maddalena vs Brown: Fight Breakdown
Jack Della Maddalena started off on a bad note. He made his pro debut against Aldin Bates in 2016. He lost the fight via TKO in the third round. Jack’s second foray inside an MMA cage was equally forgettable. He lost his second MMA fight against Darcy Vendy via submission in the first round. But just when it looked like his MMA career was going fizzle out, Maddalena pulled off something incredible.

Since his initial two losses, Jack has won 13 fights in a row. Interestingly, the 26-year-old has only one decision win in his career. Maddalena has 12 finishes with 11 KOs and 1 submission win. But Brown’s resume is much more diverse. He has 6 knockout wins and 5 submissions. So it will be an incredibly tough task for Jack Della Maddalena to beat Randy Brown.
As per UFC stats, Randy Brown lands 4.38 strikes per minute and absorbs 3.25 strikes. In terms of striking, Brown only secures 0.69 strikes per fight with an accuracy rate of 33%. In contrast, Jack Della Maddalena is yet to secure a single takedown in the company. However, his striking has been incredibly potent so far.
The Australian fighter absorbs 4.22 strikes per minute and lands 8.45 strikers. So fans can expect a striking battle for 3 rounds. Maddalena also averages at least 1 knockdown per fight in the UFC. Although he will have a height and reach disadvantage, Jack’s power may just award him another win this weekend.
