UFC 286 is all set to go down this weekend in London. Although there were talks of the event taking place in a huge soccer stadium, the company ultimately settled for the O2 Arena. However, the event is expected to be a sell-out as Dana White confirmed that the event will out-gross all other UFC events in the UK. With home fighter and welterweight champ, Leon Edwards set to headline, it is not an outlandish feat at all!
Leon Edwards defends his title against his old rival Kamaru Usman. As UFC fans remember, Edwards had one of the best comebacks in MMA history at UFC 278. At that event, Usman fought Leon for the welterweight title. Although he dominated the bout for nearly 20 minutes, Edwards knocked Usman out with a head kick. A KO was the only way Leon could have won the bout and he did so with only 56 seconds remaining!

So fans are extremely excited to see if Leon can continue the same success or not. In the co-main event. Justin Gaethje makes his return to the cage after his defeat against Charles Oliveira at UFC 274. He is set to fight Rafael Fiziev, who has made some great progress since losing to Magomed Mustafaev on his UFC debut. Other than that, Gunnar Nelson fights Bryan Barberena and Casey O’Neill goes up against Jennifer Maia.
Former middleweight title challenger Marvin Vettori returns to action after losing to Robert Whittaker in his last bout. He will fight the 9th-placed Roman Dolidze in the opening bout of the main card this Saturday. So what songs are the stars going to use for their respective walkouts to the Octagon? Let’s find out!
Which songs will Leon Edwards and Kamaru Usman use for UFC 286?
Kamaru Usman, who was the welterweight champ heading into UFC 278, walked out to a remix of “Try Jesus” by Tobe Nwigwe and “Big League” by Yo Gotti, Moneybagg Yo, Lil Poppa, and Mozzy. Prior to that, Usman used “YABA BULUKU” for the second Colby Covington contest at UFC 268. For his UFC 261 fight against Jorge Masvidal, Kamaru Usman walked out to “Alarm Clock” by Burnaboy ft. Kitale.
Usman’s opponent and the current UFC welterweight champ, Leon Edwards has used the song “Shabba Madda Pot” by Dexta Daps for his last three bouts against Belal Muhammad, Nate Diaz, and Kamaru Usman. But that is not the only song he has used throughout his career. Leon has also walked out to “Grinding All My Life” by Nipsey Hustle and “The Rain” by DMX on various occasions.
Which songs will Justin Gaethje and Rafael Fiziev use for UFC 286?
As previously mentioned, Justin Gaethje fought at UFC 274 the last time. For that event, Justin walked out to “El Rey” by Vicente Fernandez. It was an homage to his Mexican roots. Before that, Gaethje took on Michael Chandler at UFC 268 and used the song “Rock Superstar” by Cypress Hill for his walkout. Prior to that, Justin had his first title opportunity against Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 254. He chose the song “War Monger” by The Simpkin Project for that event.
Rafael Fiziev’s last contest was against the former lightweight champ, Rafael dos Anjos. For that fight at UFC Vegas 58, Fiziev walked out to “Human” by Rag n Bine Man. He used the same song for his bouts against Brad Riddell and Bobby Green as well. So fans can expect him to continue using the same song for UFC 286 as well.
Which songs will Marvin Vettori and Roman Dolidze use for UFC 286?
Marvin Vettori made his last walk to the Octagon at UFC Paris in 2022. Ahead of fighting Robert Whittaker, Marvin walked out to the song called “FRATELLI O’ITAALIA” by Inno di Mameli. However, for his Paulo Costa fight in October 2021, Marvin chose “The Italian Dream” by Greg Willen. For his title bout at UFC 263 against Israel Adesanya, Marvin used “The Ecstasy of Gold” by Ennio Morricone.
Roman Dolidze amazingly knocked out Jack Hermansson in his last bout in December 2022. He walked out to the song “The Eight Wonders of the World,” which is a Georgian dance number. The Georgian fighter used the same tune for his bout against both Phil Hawes and Kyle Daukaus.
