Will Joe Rogan be present in the commentary booth for UFC 288?
With such a massive PPV like UFC 288 on the horizon, there is a lot of interest in knowing who the commentary team will be for the event. Without a doubt, Joe Rogan is the biggest star amongst the UFC commentators due to his podcast, “The Joe Rogan Experience.” On top of that, he also had an illustrious career on the small screen as well.
Over the years, the 55-year-old has been very picky about the choices of PPVs that he does. He has even stopped working on UFC PPVs which are held abroad. However, fans are in for a treat as Joe will be present for the UFC 288 PPV. According to a report from MMA Junkie, Joe Rogan will call the fights on May 6 along with fan favorites Jon Anik and Daniel Cormier.
Fans have often seen some legendary reactions from the trio after some dramatic results. So fans can look forward to the banter between the three this weekend. On top of that, all three of Rogan, Cormier, and Anik were present in Florida on May 9 in 2020 when Cejudo announced his retirement after beating Dominick Cruz at UFC 249. So having the band together for Cejudo’s return is certainly a nice touch from the company.
Aside from them, Megan Olivi will be present as the roving reporter and will conduct backstage interviews throughout the event. Legendary ring announcer Bruce Buffer will call the action from the ring, while the former fighter and coach Din Thomas will join the commentary team as an analyst to give his input from time to time. However, the desk analyst team is yet to be decided.
