Ali Abdelaziz is a name that appears with and in the UFC headlines pretty frequently. From allegations to fights, Ali’s everywhere is all over the MMA world. Before becoming a manager, Ali was an MMA fighter himself. But he didn’t exactly excel at it. In his MMA career, Ali had a record of 1-3. So Abdelaziz switched to establishing his very own ‘Dominance MMA Management’.
Under this management, Abdelaziz manages several UFC personalities who are also former UFC champions. These names include Khabib Nurmegomedov, Henry Cejudo, and Kamaru Usman. Ali also manages former PFL champions like Lance Palmer and Kayla Harrison.
But in recent years, The guy has been in controversies for reasons that are more personal than professional. With all these fighters, Ali also keeps appearing on several news headlines and even social media meme pages. This is because of the shape of his head.
Hence people all across the world call him and his head all sorts of names. But is his skull really just a meme-able thing? Or is it something more than it?
Ali Abdelaziz was hospitalized due to his condition
Apparently, the reason why Ali possesses his weirdly shaped head is because of a condition called Sagittal Keel. Sagittal Keel is when the bone on top of the head thickens. Hence, the crown that appears on Ali’s head is a thickened bone. When overgrown excessively, it can lead to it turning into a severe medical condition. Something similar happened to Abdelaziz.
Ali was reportedly hospitalized in 2020 because of his growing skull. Ali was rushed to hospital as his neck couldn’t bear the weight of his skull anymore. His friend tweeted about the MMA Dominance head honcho being hospitalized and wished him a speedy recovery.
Alongside all this, in very recent times, Ali has been a subject as well as a part of many controversies as well. Several people like Conor McGregor and Colby Covington made allegations of him being a “terrorist.” This was because of Ali’s shady past and his involvement with government agencies like the FBI.
Along with this, Ali has been a part of many leaked conversations with people like Francis Ngannou and tweets about Alexander Volkanovski. Hence, it is safe to say that Ali is no foreign man to controversies and troubles. Be it personal or professional.
