Colby Covington and Tyron Woodley have always spoken their minds about each other and how they are better than the other. Woodley has an upcoming boxing match against YouTube star-turned boxer – Jake Paul.
Chaos has openly criticized the match-up between Woodley and Paul, he says that he does not want to pick a side because he knows everything is decided beforehand and everything is a ‘work’. Whenever Covington is asked about Tyron Woodley, he makes sure to rub salt on Woodley’s wounds by always pointing his win against The Chosen One.
Colby Covington’s opinion on Tyron Woodley vs Jake Paul
On a recent episode of the Submission Radio podcast, Colby candidly expressed his thoughts on Woodley facing one-half of the Paul brothers, saying that he[Woodley] has lost his dignity.
“You know, Tyron Woodley, former world champion has a great resume, done some great things, but the day Tyron Woodley fought me was the day that he DIED. The day I ended him in the octagon, he was mentally broken forever. Now he has no shame.”
“Of course, he’s gonna go out there and fight ‘Snake’ Paul, so he has no dignity, he has no shame anymore, he doesn’t care, Woodley doesn’t care to take a dive now because frankly, he has to pay off all his ex-wives. Of course, he’s gonna take a dive from Jake Paul and get a bunch of money.” Covington expressed on the podcast.
The last time Covington and Woodley stepped foot inside the cage, Chaos emerged victorious against The Chosen One. There was a lot of pot-shotting early and often, with Covington making some luck with simple punch combinations and kicks to the legs and midsection.

The quality of that fight was not up to the mark, because there were many missed shots and bad connections. The match also failed to capture the interests of the audience present in the building.
The Colby Covington and Kamaru Usman situation
The wide-mouthed Colby Covington has claimed that the UFC welterweight champion is avoiding a potential rematch. Kamaru Usman and Covington previously locked horns back in 2019, with Usman picking up the victory with a fifth-round knockout. Covington has claimed several times that the referee stopped the fight intentionally due to some political reasons.
White stated that Colby Covington is the next number one contender for the welterweight championship, and implied that a matchup between Edwards and Jorge Masvidal might also be on its way.
