Tyson Fury vs Francis Nagnnou: Rumble in the Jungle 2

In front of 94,000 fight fans in the Wembley stadium, Tyson Fury knocked out Dillian Whyte to retain his WBC heavyweight title.

Tyson Fury effortlessly outboxed Whyte in the early rounds and landed a brutal uppercut to secure the victory. Following the win, Fury announced his retirement from boxing.

Tyson Fury admitted that he made a promise to Paris Fury to retire from boxing after the Deontay Wilder trilogy. Though Fury could not keep his promise after the trilogy he believes this is his last boxing fight. Fury stated:

“I’ve been in this game 20 years, I’m 34 in a few months. This is definitely the end of the Gypsy King and I went out with a bang. Tonight was amazing, but this is the end.”

Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou: Rumble in the Jungle 2 is Next

Though Tyson Fury might not return to the boxing ring it does not mean he will never compete again. Following his win over Dillian Whyte, Tyson Fury brought the current UFC heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou into his interview.

The heavyweight champions agreed to fight each other in a fight with hybrid rules to find out who the baddest motherf***** on the planet. Talking about the fight, Fury stated:

“This is going to be a very special fight like never before seen in the history of our sport. We are not talking two light guys 140 lbs. It’s gonna be an explosive fight when it happens.”

Ngannou further added: “It is gonna be a hybrid fight with different types of rules, with MMA gloves in the ring kind of like mix up.”

The UFC heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou is on the verge of free agency. After defending his title against Ciryl Gane, Francis Ngannou made it clear that he is not signing with UFC unless his demands are met.

Both Ngannou and Fury have shown interest to fight each other for a long time. And with both being the best heavyweight in their respective sport at the moment, this fight can be one of the biggest fights in combat sports history.

Whether UFC and Dana White would promote this potential heavyweight fight is still unknown. But, the fans will certainly be looking forward to the Rumble in Jungle 2 in Africa.
