Israel Adesanya will be on the commentator’s table working as an Analyst for the upcoming exhibition bout between former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson and former four-division champion Roy Jones Jr.
The current middleweight champion of the world expressed his excitement about the news and stated that he can’t wait for the epic showdown. The bout is scheduled to be an exhibition bout. However, the lead-up has indicated that both the boxers will be in for a fighting spectacle in what promises to be one of the biggest events in boxing history.
“We’re not going to see an exhibition, this will be a fight between two war dogs gunning for each other. I know fighting. I know boxing, and I’ve studied Tyson and Roy Jones.”
Israel Adesanya has often mentioned Jones Jr. in his interviews. The middleweight champion is a huge fan of RJ, and it shouldn’t come as a surprise that he could be rooting for the former four-division champion.
Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. will step inside the boxing ring on November 28 inside Staples Center in Carnia. The bout will be sanctioned by the California commission. Both the boxers will step inside the ring for a championship belt made exclusive for the bout by WBC. “Frontline Championship” will be on the line in the boxing bout that is being promoted as “Frontline Battle.”
