UFC Fight Night 231: Jailton Almeida vs. Derrick Lewis is going to be a special night for MMA lovers. In the Welterweight division, the undefeated ‘Marretinha’ Gabriel Bonfim will face off against ‘Danish Dynamite’ Nicolas Dalby.
Bonfim last fought Trevin Giles at UFC 291: Poirier vs. Gaethje 2, where he won against Giles in 1 minute and 13 seconds with a Guillotine Choke in Round 1. Dalby is on a three-fight winning streak. But Nicolas Dalby can’t be underestimated, as he has fought 27 fights in his career, and no opponent has ever been able to finish Nicolas other than when his fight went into NC against Jesse Ronson, as Ronson tested positive for metandienone. Dalby is not to be underestimated, but fighting against Bonfim would be hard for the Danish Dynamite.

Just look at his repertoire; he is 15-0 and he is taking a huge risk, but knowing Bonfim as the submission specialist he is, this is going to be one of the most interesting fights of the night. ‘Marretinha’, in his 15 fights, never failed to finish any of his opponents, so this is going to be a battle.
So, it is a no-brainer to pick up Gabriel Bonfim over Nicolas Dalby. As Dalby is hittable and gives up his back easily, he might get taken down too. At UFC Fight Night 231, Gabriel Bonfim might win against Nicolas Dalby via submission.
