UFC Fight Night: Dan Ige vs Movsar Evloev Fight Breakdown and Prediction
Dan Ige is currently going through a torrid time with only one win in his last four fights. However, a win at UFC Fight Night over Movsar who is undefeated with a record of 15-0 will do great for his confidence.
Whereas, Movsar Evloev has outclassed all five of his opponents in the UFC and shown great potential. Although he has not finished a single contender in the division and that could become a slight concern in the future as it would be difficult to outclass every single opponent in the top half of the division. With that being said, it will be an exciting matchup to watch.
Stylistically speaking, 50K is a better and more powerful striker than Evloev. Owing to the fact, Movsar has not wobbled any of his opponents and is more of an efficient striker. However, Ige’s weakness in this fight would be his takedown defense. In his fight against Chan Sung Jung, The Korean Zombie landed three takedown and controlled the fight on the ground for over ten minutes.
We can expect something similar from Evloev because he has a wrestling heavy approach in his fights. So the only way for Ige to win this fight would be to finish Movsar with his striking early in the fight. However, the likelihood of that happening is quite low considering Evloev has dealt with powerful strikers with his takedowns.
