UFC Fight Night co-main event will feature a middleweight fight between Josh Fremd vs Tresean Gore that will take place on October 29 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

“(My) mindset is I need to get a win,” Fremd said. “I don’t care how that win comes. Obviously, I want to get a finish because there’s a good chance for a bonus if that happens. But I told a lot of people I still don’t consider myself a UFC fighter yet until I get that win and until I get my hand raised. Then I’ll be able to enjoy it.” Fremd has a professional record of 9-3 and made his UFC debut earlier this year where he suffered a unanimous decision loss to Anthony Hernandez

This is a fight both the fighters will desperately look to win as both Fremd and Gore are yet to register their first win under the UFC. Tresean Gore made his UFC debut back in February where he suffered a unanimous decision loss to Bryan Battle and then got finished inside one round against Cody Brundage in his second UFC outing.

Josh Fremd vs Tresean Gore: Fight Breakdown and Prediction

Josh Fremd has a one and a half inch reach advantage and hence will look to use his striking to keep Tresean Gore at range. Gore certainly has more power in hands but for that power to come into play he will have to find a way to close that range.

Tresean Gore secures 2 takedowns per fight and has an accuracy rate of 66%. But he can be found lacking in the striking department with a landing average of 3.80 and an absorption rate of 7.47 strikes per 60 seconds and that can prove to be costly against a fighter like Fremd who is known for his aggressive striking.
