Kevin Croom puts the lightweight division on notice
With this win, Croom now holds the record for the fastest win on UFC debut in the lightweight division. After an emphatic victory, Kevin Croom talked about his journey to UFC and the debut win in the post-fight interview with Michael Bisping. Croom stated:
“Waited 13 years to be here. Hard work. I am elated. Left hand clean. Snap. heck yeah. Grabbed that guillotine. Man, that tap felt like the best thing.”
Even Kevin Croom was surprised by the way the fight played out as he stated:” I was expecting the best. Man, I got it, huh!”
With this victory, Croom has secured the 22nd win in his MMA career. The 33-year-old mixed martial artist has a record 22 wins and 12 losses as he makes a statement on his UFC debut.
Croom has not been able to hold any prestigious championship in his career so far. However, he has won fights in promotions such as Bellator and LFA. Croom has been entertaining the fans with numerous first-round finishes and it is expected that the best is yet to come for the veteran.
