Adrian Yanez is one of Dana White’s Contender Series fighters who made his way to the UFC after defeating Brady Huang at Dana White’s Contender Series 28.
The fighter debuted against Victor Rodriguez at UFC Fight Night: Hall vs. Silva in the year 2020. Since his debut, Yanez has gone on to register three consecutive wins in the UFC. The American has dominated opponents throughout his fights and loves to knock opponents out in the early rounds. Yanez has revealed that he just loves his job of being an MMA fighter and fighting against world-class fighters.
Other than Yanez’s love for fighting, his unmatched obsession with sweet liquid Dr. Pepper is something that captured the attention of many fight fans. It all started back at UFC Vegas 22, when Yanez faced Gustavo Lopez in a Bantamweight bout. Going into the fight as an underdog, Yanez showed great determination and calmness and defeated Lopez via knockout in the third round. The win also earned him his second Performance of the Night award bonus. After the fight was over, during the celebration, all Yanez wanted was a bottle of Dr. Pepper.
When asked about Dr. Pepper the fighter shared his great passion for the drink. Yanez claims that he can consume a large number of them in a single sitting. Since this incident, Yanez has been continuously trying to get sponsorship from Dr. Pepper. The 27-year-old seemed eager and has tweeted many times about landing a sponsorship in the form of a lifetime free supply from the brand.
