2023 has been a year of redemption for Israel Adesanya. Having suffered a foot injury and coping with other health issues last year, Adesanya has found his rhythm again. Following a vicious KO victory over Alex Pereira things have seemingly shifted back on track for Adesanya.
Recently, there has been a lot of talk about Israel, his wealth, and his properties. After the recent controversy involving PSG star Achraf Hakimi and his wife Hina Abouk, Adesanya shared his thoughts. However, he further compared their situation, blasting his ex-girlfriend, Charlotte Powdrell on social media.

As it turns out, Adesanya’s ex-girlfriend may have been looking to sue him for half his net worth! For the most part, the two-time UFC Middleweight champion is one of the most influential fighters currently. Not only that, but he also boasts a reported $4 million net worth as well. As such, let’s take a look at one of his most prized possessions, his house.
Israel Adesanya’s lavish house in Auckland
Whilst Adesanya usually makes the trip to the United States for most of his fights, he actually resides in Auckland, New Zealand. In an interview with GQ Sports last year, Adesanya revealed how he actually spent his first million in the UFC. Notably, Adesanya mentions his lavish $800,000 home as one of his key purchases.
Other than his house in Auckland, the Last Stylebender is known to have numerous properties and apartments in Whanganui Liverpool Street as well. Whilst it isn’t the only house he has bought, it remains the most important one as it was his first one. Interestingly, the house has its own $20,000 home cinema and also 4-5 bedrooms, among other upgrades as well. However, Izzy also reveals that somebody else is living in that house, indicating that he likely has rented it out.
As for his current apartment, Adesanya shows glimpses of it, including the decorations of his stuffed toys and other accessories. Moreover, Izzy tends to invite his friends and fellow fighters over to watch UFC and Boxing PPV events together. It is here that we ever so often get a glimpse of his spacious living room and the rest of the luxurious apartment. Having changed houses in the past few years, it is entirely possible that Izzy might be looking for a new house as well.
Israel Adesanya’s Gym: City Kickboxing
Ever since the start of his UFC career, Israel Adesanya has been training at the City Kickboxing gym in Auckland, New Zealand. Founded by Eugene Bareman and Doug Viney in 2007. Since then the gym has become home to some of the best fighters from various MMA promotions around the world. The gym has fighters from the UFC, Bellator, ONE Championship, and Dibella Entertainment (Boxing) as well.
As mentioned previously, City Kickboxing is home to some notable names in the UFC. As such, UFC fighters training at CKB include Israel Adesanya, Alexander Volkanovski, Kai Kara-France, Dan Hooker, Shane Young, Brad Riddell, Carlos Ulberg, and Tyson Pedro. Thus, the fact that CKB is one of the few gyms to have two world champions training with them speaks volumes about their work.
Additionally, the New Zealand- based gym has also received numerous awards and accolades for the same. Dating back to 2019, CKB has won 9 awards for Coach and Gym of the Year from various websites and magazines. Hence, Izzy owes much of his success to his gym and vice versa.
